La Alianza Informativa Latinoamericana suscribe acuerdo de cooperación con la Unión de Radiodifusión de los Estados Árabes (ASBU).
Bogotá D.C., 21 de enero de 2025. El pasado 15 de enero, en la ciudad de Hammamet, Túnez, la Alianza Informativa Latinoamericana (AIL) suscribió un acuerdo de cooperación para el intercambio de contenidos e información con la Unión de Radiodifusión de Estados Árabes (ASBU, por sus siglas en inglés).
Durante la Asamblea General número 44 de ASBU, Juan Carlos Isaza, director de la AIL, junto con Mohammed Fahad J. Alharthi y Abdelrahim Suleiman, presidente y director general de ASBU, respectivamente, suscribieron un acuerdo de cooperación que permitirá el intercambio de contenidos noticiosos de interés para América Latina, El Caribe, España y el mundo árabe.
ASBU es una de las instituciones panárabes más antiguas del mundo, la cual fue fundada en febrero de 1969 en la ciudad de Jartum. La organización pertenece a la Liga de los Estados Árabes y está integrada por las corporaciones de radio y televisión, propiedad de los gobiernos de los países que integran la Liga Árabe.
Adicionalmente, ASBU forma parte de la Unión Mundial de Radiodifusión (WBU, por sus siglas en inglés). LA WBU es una organización que coordina las uniones continentales de radiodifusión a nivel mundial.
Con el acuerdo de cooperación, la AIL le aportará a las cadenas radiales y televisivas del mundo árabe su experiencia, conocimiento, espíritu colaborativo y talento humano.
La Alianza espera fortalecer el servicio de noticias ofrecido a sus asociados, accediendo a contenido e información proveniente de una de las regiones más importantes a nivel internacional: el mundo árabe. Finalmente, la AIL espera crecer en otros frentes en beneficios de los asociados y sus audiencias.

The Latin American Information Alliance signed a cooperation agreement with the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU).
Bogota D.C., January 21, 2025. On January 15, in the city of Hammamet, Tunisia,The Latin American Information Alliance (AIL, in Spanish) signed a cooperation agreement for the exchange of content and information with the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU).
During the 44th ASBU General Assembly, Juan Carlos Isaza, AIL director, Mohammed Fahad J. Alharthi, ASBU president, and Abdelrahim Suleiman, general director of ASBU, signed a cooperation agreement that will allow the exchange of content to Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain and the Arab world.
ASBU is one of the oldest pan-Arab institutions in the world, founded in February 1969 in the city of Khartoum. The organization belongs to the League of Arab States and is composed of radio and television corporations owned by the governments of the countries that make up the Arab League.
In addition, ASBU is a member of the World Broadcasting Union (WBU). The WBU is an organization that coordinates continental broadcasting unions worldwide.
Through the cooperation agreement, AIL will bring its experience, knowledge, collaborative spirit and human talent to the radio and television networks of the Arab world.
AIL hopes to strengthen its news service for its partners by accessing content and information from one of the most important regions internationally: the Arab world. Finally, AIL hopes to grow on other fronts in benefits for the partners and their audiences.
