Agencia de Noticias en Vídeo de CCTV promueve en Perú la construcción del mecanismo de“Socios Mediáticos del Sur Global”

El pasado 13 de junio de 2025, la Agencia de Noticias en Video de CCTV (CCTV+) de China organizó en Lima, Perú, una presentación especial para América Latina del mecanismo de “Socios Mediáticos del Sur Global”, aprovechando el desarrollo de la 17ª Asamblea Anual de la Alianza Informativa Latinoamericana (AIL) para impulsar la construcción de dicho mecanismo. Durante el evento, CCTV+ firmó un Memorando de Entendimiento sobre cooperación en el marco del mecanismo de “Socios Mediáticos del Sur Global” con AIL y Latina Televisión. Asimismo, extendió una invitación activa a los medios latinoamericanos a sumarse a esta iniciativa, con el objetivo de reforzar la cooperación mediática entre los países del Sur Global. Representantes de medios latinoamericanos, como Latina Televisión, valoraron altamente el mecanismo, destacando que la cooperación entre los medios de China y América Latina se profundizará a través de este mecanismo, el cual brindará nuevas ideas y oportunidades para fortalecer la colaboración mediática del Sur Global, fomentando el desarrollo compartido y el beneficio mutuo entre los países involucrados.
El director ejecutivo de AIL, Sr. Juan Carlos Isaza, expresó su honor al unirse como miembro clave al mecanismo, y manifestó su esperanza de que este pueda proporcionar productos de inteligencia artificial avanzados y soporte técnico a los miembros de la alianza.
Por otro lado, el gerente general de Latina Televisión, Sr. Eric Jurgensen Flores, señaló que los medios de China y Perú reforzarán su cooperación en intercambio de contenidos, formación de personal e innovación tecnológica bajo el marco del mecanismo, estableciendo así un sistema de intercambio duradero y efectivo.
Durante la presentación, el presidente, gerente general y editor jefe de CCTV+, Sr. Gao Wei y la gerente de negocio de CCTV+, Sra. Zhang Yueheng, ofrecieron a los principales medios latinoamericanos una introducción detallada al concepto del mecanismo de “Socios Mediáticos del Sur Global”. Compartió con sus homólogos regionales propuestas concretas de cooperación en el marco del mecanismo, incluyendo el intercambio de contenidos, la coproducción de programas y la aplicación de inteligencia artificial para impulsar la innovación mediática. En un contexto internacional marcado por la incertidumbre y los desafíos, los medios del Sur Global se esfuerzan por avanzar unidos, fortaleciendo su colaboración con miras a contribuir de forma más significativa al desarrollo social y al bienestar de los pueblos en todos los países.
Durante el evento, representantes de CCTV+ mantuvieron conversaciones con los representantes de medios de comunicación, incluidos Latina Televisión (Perú), Caracol Televisión (Colombia), TV Azteca (México), Canal 13 (Chile), TV Azteca Guatemala, Telefuturo (Paraguay), Unitel (Bolivia), WAPA (Puerto Rico), así como con representantes de National Public Radio (Estados Unidos), ENEX, la Academia de Televisión de España y Televisión Canaria (España). Las conversaciones se centraron en posibles proyectos de cooperación en el marco del mecanismo de “Socios Mediáticos del Sur Global”.
La 17.ª Asamblea Anual de la AIL se celebró en Lima, Perú, del 11 al 13 de junio, con la participación de 53 representantes de medios provenientes de 25 países de América Latina, Europa, China y Estados Unidos. El año 2025 marca el 20º aniversario de la fundación de la AIL, que reúne a 21 cadenas de televisión de 21 países de América Latina, el Caribe y España.
CCTV’s Video News Agency is promoting the creation of the “Global South Media Partners” mechanism in Peru.

On June 13, 2025, CCTV+, the Chinese news agency for video (CCTV+), organized a special presentation for Latin America of the “Global South Media Partners” mechanism in Lima, Peru. The event took advantage of the 17th Annual Assembly of the Latin American Information Alliance (AIL) to promote the construction of this mechanism. During the event, CCTV+ signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation within the framework of the “Global South Media Partners” mechanism with AIL and Latina Televisión. It also actively invited Latin American media outlets to join this initiative, with the aim of strengthening media cooperation among countries in the Global South. Representatives of Latin American media outlets, such as Latina Televisión, highly valued the mechanism, emphasizing that cooperation between Chinese and Latin American media outlets will deepen through this mechanism. It will provide new ideas and opportunities to strengthen media collaboration in the Global South, fostering shared development and mutual benefit among the countries involved.
The Executive Director of AIL, Mr. Juan Carlos Isaza, expressed his honor at joining the mechanism as a key member and expressed his hope that it can provide advanced artificial intelligence products and technical support to the alliance members.
On the other hand, the General Manager of Latina Televisión, Mr. Eric Jurgensen Flores, noted that media outlets in China and Peru will strengthen their cooperation in content exchange, personnel training, and technological innovation under the framework of the mechanism, thus establishing a lasting and effective exchange system.
During the presentation, CCTV+ President, General Manager, and Editor-in-Chief, Mr. Gao Wei, and CCTV+ Business Manager, Ms. Zhang Yueheng, provided a detailed introduction to the concept of the “Global South Media Partners” mechanism for leading Latin American media outlets. They shared concrete proposals for cooperation within the framework of the mechanism with their regional counterparts, including content sharing, program co-production, and the application of artificial intelligence to drive media innovation. In an international context marked by uncertainty and challenges, media outlets in the Global South are striving to move forward together, strengthening their collaboration with a view to making a more meaningful contribution to social development and the well-being of people in all countries.
During the event, CCTV+ representatives held discussions with media representatives, including Latina Televisión (Peru), Caracol Televisión (Colombia), TV Azteca (Mexico), Canal 13 (Chile), TV Azteca Guatemala, Telefuturo (Paraguay), Unitel (Bolivia), WAPA (Puerto Rico), as well as representatives from National Public Radio (United States), ENEX, the Spanish Television Academy, and Televisión Canaria (Spain). Discussions focused on potential cooperation projects within the framework of the “Media Partners of the Global South” mechanism.
