CBS directly owns and operates 15 stations in key markets, including New York (WCBS-TV), Los Angeles (KCBS-TV), Chicago (WBBM-TV) and Miami (WFOR-TV), among others. These stations are managed by the CBS News and Stations division, which in total manages 28 stations in 17 major U.S. markets.
In addition to its owned stations, CBS maintains affiliation agreements with 236 additional stations throughout the country. These affiliates, although operated by other companies, carry CBS national programming, enabling the network to reach national coverage of approximately 96% of U.S. households.
