This team of individuals is responsible for ensuring that all allied channels contribute the main news from their respective countries and facilitates the acquisition of news content from different regions of the world.

Coordination also oversees the distribution of breaking news live signals and broadcasts conducted among the organization’s channels.

Coordination

The editorial production team is responsible for the daily collection of news contributed by all members for the news service. This group of individuals ensures that the content is uploaded with the corresponding metadata and meets the quality standards required for use by television stations. The team is also responsible for coordinating unilateral requests between channels and announcing the news offerings that may be of interest to allied channels. Finally, the production team is also responsible for coordinating live broadcasts of multidestination signals, with breaking news or unilateral services conducted between the organization’s channels.

I am a film and television producer with over 30 years of professional experience in broadcasting and television production. As part of my professional journey at Caracol Televisión (Colombia), since 2005, I have been in charge of the Alianza Informativa Latinoamericana - AIL (www.ailnews.tv); a regional organization currently uniting 22 television stations from America, the Caribbean, and Spain. Prior to my role as General Director of AIL, I served as News Producer for Noticias Caracol, Producer for Variety Programs, and Production Supervisor at Caracol Televisión, roles that accumulated over 11 years of professional experience. Concurrently, for 14 years, I owned a company (ALTA-SUR) specializing in the rental of professional production equipment for electronic news gathering (ENG), electronic field production (EFP), and digital cinematography.
